Applications like LinkedIn never really got me going, until I started using it’s full potential. LinkedIn is a premium quality networking-tool, which is free to use, has tons of fancy features to use and connects you to new prospects, contacts and other people to do business with.

Once I started using the full potential of LinkedIn, I discovered a simple yet functional world that’s based on meeting new people and keeping in touch with relations and customers. Using LinkedIn can be a real boost of your career.
I was stunned when one of my connections contacted me via LinkedIn, which lead to a new assignment! The effort I had put in creating a quality LinkedIn profile paid of, in the first week of using LinkedIn!
Boost your career with LinkedIn
Once you start using LinkedIn, make sure you fill in your profile with the information your contacts might need. Don’t stuff your profile with pictures and other information that is totally irrelevant with the people you try to connect to.
Your profile needs to be telling the story about you as a business, just the way you want to represent yourself to your contacts and (potential) customers.
Once people think your profile gives them enough information, for them to work with, they will have lots of ways to contact you and discuss about possible collaboration. Working hard to get a quality LinkedIn-profile will eventually pay of, once you start receiving orders via your profile!
Stay in touch with your customers and relations
Besides contacting new (potential) customers, LinkedIn offers lots of functionalities that make it easy for users to stay in touch with existing customers and contacts. Instant messaging and the fact that LinkedIn is popular at lots of companies, makes it easy to keep track of your contacts.
Today, the world of networking between businessmen is all about LinkedIn. Most employees I worked with at several companies, joined LinkedIn once they heard I was into networking, or were already subscribed!
