I’m sick of people discriminating in this world, that’s the main reason why I’m posting this article. But why on this blog, what’s the connection with the web? The internet is one big example of how people should live together, without the color of the skin making a difference.

Webcams and other technologies allow people to see each other, but not everyone does have a webcam. So we (mostly) don’t know what race someone is, once we start chatting, emailing or even working together, untill we ask for more (personal) details.
And that’s how it should be, working and having fun together, without letting skin color make a difference. It’s great to know, that discrimination is dying. Less and less people think that there needs to be a difference between a white human and a black human.
People are all the same on the internet
If you’re joining a new website, or you start chatting with friends (or strangers) on the network of MSN, you’re free to share that much (or less) information about yourself as you like. And that’s the main advantage, people don’t know the race of someone that’s on the other side of the world, but they are joining the same website.
I think you shouldn’t hide your true self, be honest and show that you’re African, Chinese or Latin, I really don’t care. But for some people, it appears to be a problem. Those people should take a look at the internet, how people (of all races and cultures) work and have fun together. Perhaps I’m a bit pessimistic, but I think the world should take the internet as an example.

Wonderful post! It’s true, the world doesn’t need discrimination or racism.
Indeed and the internet shows that the world (or the internet at least) can live on without discrimination!
